LITHOLOGY is the second studio album released by the Texas A&M University-Kingsville® Jazz Program. After the success of our first album, Dendrology, members of the combo program were quite enthusiastic to get back into the studio. This enthusiasm spread throughout our jazz program, with more students coming forth with composition and arrangement ideas that could work in the studio. This allowed us to incorporate more student performers, composers, and a greater variety of jazz styles on this second collection of recordings. This album is a culmination of the creative output of the TAMUK Jazz Combos during the 2021-2022 school year.
