Scatter the Darkness is an album dedicated to personal journeys. Each work was commissioned by Kyle and Melissa Millsap and written by Stanley Friedman. All compositions have an inscription remembering an event in their lives. Musically, it showcases music for the trumpet outside of the typical, bombastic expectations.
